Finely handcrafted traditional ghata executed in a Tamra–Pital composite (copper and brass), featuring a rounded ceremonial body and gently flared neck. The surface is richly adorned with repoussé and hand-engraved floral and foliate motifs arranged in rhythmic horizontal bands. Subtle tonal variations between the warm copper base and golden brass detailing create a distinctive dual-metal character, enhanced by a naturally developed aged patina.
Attributed to the metalworking traditions of Western India, this vessel reflects both ritual utility and sculptural elegance. Today, it stands as a heritage collectible suitable for museum display, curated interiors, and serious private collections.
